Material Handling System

The challenge was to fabricate a material handling system used for manufacturing Teflon seal products to be installed at the client's new plant in Shanghai, China. Some of the project requirements were to design and develop a 75-ton hydraulic press and to develop a mold system with hydraulic presses integrated into a track system used to position press dies. Under a very tight schedule, Hill coordinated the engineering and design with personnel located in China. The entire system was fabricated and tested prior to disassembling and shipping to China.
