Information Commons

Mount Holyoke College desired to modernize its library to improve research support. Hill transformed a space that housed shelves of reference books and journals into a technologically current "Information Commons."  Architecturally, Hill worked with the college to converge information and technology through comfortable collaboration areas and efficient workstations in a pleasant and user-friendly interior design. Hill also provided all engineering services to upgrade HVAC and electrical systems to handle the increased loads on a formerly unoccupied space.
