The 12 existing squash courts needed improvements to conform with international standards. The courts were gutted, an addition was built and all new courts were installed. Additionally, Williams College desired a dramatic new entrance.
The building expansion was limited by very difficult site conditions with minimal space and substancial elevation changes, necessitating a complex retaining wall/stair structure.
Hill provided structural, mechanical, electrical and site work services. Hill collaborated with New York architect Michael Wurmfeld on this project.
