Hill provided electrical engineering support to the Jiminy Peak Wind Turbine project. In order to make this project economically viable, as much generation as possible has to be consumed on-site at Jiminy Peak. Snowmaking equipment provides a load during the winter months. However, a summer load had to be available  to take advantage of the on-site generation during the off season. Hill was instrumental in re-designing the substation at the base lodge to provide this on-site summer load. Hill also provided support service for the installation and testing of the wind turbine.
