Hill was engaged to design a new Service Center Facility to provide reliable service for more than 61,000 utility customers in the greater Fall River area. The new facility replaced the obsolete buildings and provides a more efficient, modern and comfortable environment for employees. Indoor garaging of service vehicles helps to ensure quick emergency response during storm restoration procedures. The program included 10,900 sq ft of office area and support facilities for 70 employees, 15,800 sq ft for indoor parking, stockroom, workshop (includes a carbon monoxide exhaust system), 5.6 acres developed for storage.
Hill provided complete architectural and engineering design, site surveying and engineering, environmental permitting and construction following.
